محافظ سقطرى يطلع على أستعدادات مكتب الصحة وبرنامج الملاريا لتنفيذ حملة توزيع الناموسيات المشبعة بالمبيدات

التقى محافظ سقطرى المهندس رأفت الثقلي، اليوم، مدير عام البرنامج الوطني لمكافحة الملاريا وأمراض النواقل بوزارة الصحة الدكتور ياسر با هشيم ومدير مكتب الصحة العامة والسكان بالمحافظة الدكتور عيسى الشنقبي،

و ناقش اللقاء بحضور منسق برنامج الملاريا بسقطرى محمد يوسف الحامد، أستعدادات المكتب والبرنامج لتنفيذ حملة توزيع الناموسيات المشبعة بالمبيدات في المحافظة. 

وأكد المحافظ رأفت الثقلي، حرص السلطة المحلية وأستعدادها الدائم لتقديم كافة أوجه التعاون والدعم للأنشطة التي تسهم في الحفاظ على سقطرى خالية من الملاريا، الذي يعتبر من الأمراض الفتاكة والخطيرة، وحث خلالها مكتب الصحة وبرنامج الملاريا على تعزيز جهودهم في المراقبة واتخاذ الإجراءات الوقائية للحالات المشتبه فيها.  

من جانبه قال مدير عام البرنامج الوطني لمكافحة الملاريا وأمراض النواقل بوزارة الصحة الدكتور ياسر با هشيم، أن الحملة سوف تقوم بتوزيع ما يقارب 44 الف ناموسية على جميع المناطق في المحافظة وتستمر لمدة ستة أيام متواصلة. لافتا أن الحملة تأتي لحماية السكان المستهدفين من خطر الإصابة بالملاريا والحميات الاخرى في ظل التخوفات من عودة الملاريا للجزيرة بسبب ظروف النازحين وانتشار الحميات والتغيرات المناخية.
