وجه مدير عام مديرية التواهي، القاضي وجدي علوان الشعبي، بتكثيف جهود شفط المياه المتكدسة في شوارع وأحياء المديرية، وذلك بسبب تأثير المنخفض الجوي الذي شهدته العاصمة عدن اليوم.
جاء ذلك خلال تفقده الميداني لتفقد سير عمل شفط ممرات مياه الأمطار ، حيث أكد أن السلطة المحلية اتخذت التدابير اللازمة فورًا، بناءً على توجيهات وزير الدولة ومحافظ عدن، الأستاذ أحمد حامد لملس.
واطلع الشعبي عن كثب على عمليات شفط المياه وعمل مضخات الصرف الصحي في أحياء مديرية التواهي، عند حديقة التواهيوومنطقة القلوعة، مشددًا على ضرورة تسخير كافة الإمكانيات المتاحة للتعامل مع آثار المنخفض الجوي، مع تكثيف أعمال الشفط على مدار الساعة في جميع أنحاء المديرية.
كما وجه مدير عام المديرية فرق الطوارئ التابعة لمكتب الأشغال وصندوق النظافة واللجان المجتمعية، والاجهزة الأمنية بالمديرية ،بضرورة بذل أقصى الجهود للتخفيف من معاناة السكان في الأحياء المتضررة.
وفي سياق متصل، أكد مسؤول قسم النظافة بالمديرية المهندس فادي الحاج ، شدد اهمية تنفيذ توجيهات الشعبي وذلك عبر تسخير كافة الإمكانيات المتاحة لشفط تجمع مياه الأمطار، ونقل مخالفات من اتربه واحجار.
وكما اكد سامي الصياد مسؤول قسم الصرف الصحي في التواهي أن فرق الطوارئ تبذل قصارى جهدها لاستكمال أعمال تصريف وشفط المياه ورفع مخلفات الأمطار الغزيرة، والتي تجري على قدم وساق لليوم الثاني على التوالي.
حيث شارك في النزول الميداني نائب رئيس للجان المجتمعية في العاصمة عدن العميد عبدالرحمن الشعوي، و رئيس اللجان المجتمعية بالتواهي العميد عبدالعزيز عبدلله، ونائب شرطة التواهي النقيب باسم الخليفي،ومدير المكتب الإعلامي لمديرية التواهي محمد هشام.

تفقد الاستاذ عبدالرحيم جاوي مدير عام مديرية المعلا عمل المضخة المركزية للصرف الصحي والخاصة بشفط مياه الصرف ومياه الأمطار من شوارع المديرية واجزاء من مديرية التواهي .
واستمع الجاوي لشرح عن عمل المضخة المركزية من طاقم العمل وشدد على ضرورة الحرص واليقظه والعمل اول باول كي يتمكن عمال الصرف الصحي والنظافة من أداء واجبهم في الشوارع والاحياء .
